A pub in Bray is hosting Ireland's first ever 'toastie festival' next week

THERE ARE FEW foods more comforting than a lovely toasted sandwich. Melty cheese, crunchy bread, bitta ham… oh yeah.
It’s high time that this institution was properly celebrated, and The Harbour Bar in Bray has stepped up to the plate.
Next week, they’re hosting the country’s first ‘toastie festival’ – from Friday to Sunday they will be serving up all kinds of sambos, from the humble cheese and ham to more adventurous fillings.

They’ll be recommending sandwiches to go with whatever your drinking, but if you’re on the tea, you can avail of free top-ups. Noice.
Would be a nice way to round off the cliff walk from Greystones to Bray, no? Count us in.
